Dave Wheitner lives in Pittsburgh, PA with his life partner Jen (the veggie-powered athlete “Queen of Waffles” on your left in this picture) and a very hip cat named LeMew. Dave’s original suggestion to name LeMew “Fluff Catty a.k.a. P-Kitty,” was gently ignored, despite the interesting coincidence that his shelter name was Sean. Hence, we went with a name that would illustrate our love for Pittsburgh! And LeMew seems to prefer the shorter, consistent name anyway.
Dave & Jen have been hosting waffle parties annually since 1998, with the assistance of many creative and fun-loving guests. Dave manages Idealist Coach, a life coaching practice for individuals who are passionate about creating a healthy and sustainable world, AND who wish to create more fulfillment and balance in their own lives. Life’s too short to be discontent; and when we’re happy with our own lives, we’re better able to share our energy and unique gifts with others. Additionally, he composes electronic dance music and is completing his first book to be released by mid-2008, Naked Idealism: The Overachieving Idealist’s Guide to a Sustainable Life & World.
