There are a few sites with information on International Waffle Day, or Våffeldagen, as this holiday is called in Sweden. A Holiday a Day has a nice little blurb with some additional links. It appears that there may be some confusion over the exact origins and meanings behind it, but regardless, it’s yet another excuse to eat delicious waffles!
